Mission Statement
Quality Life Center’s mission is to strengthen and instill pride in family and community through programs and services to cultivate self-discipline, self-development, build confidence and promote cultural awareness. The center provides youth development programs designed to help at-risk youth acquire the tools for a successful life that is financially stable, socially enriching and personally fulfilling.
About This Cause
Quality Life Center is a 501(c(3) nonprofit organization providing youth development programs including afterschool, summer camp, teen and early learning programs to help at-risk youth realize their potential though arts, academics and character-building activities. Quality Life Center has been providing services in an underserved area of Southwest Florida since 1990. The center is located in the heart of a community where unemployment and poverty are many times higher than national averages, and education and student achievement fall well below U.S. and Florida levels. The Q’s Arts, Character and Education (ACE) program provides afterschool, summer camp and teen leadership programs to help at-risk youth realize their potential and foster their abilities. Active learning educational projects help students become academically competitive, arts help build confidence, discipline and resilience, and character-building activities are provided. The Early Learning program provides children with academic and social skills development to make them kindergarten-ready.
