Mission Statement

The Mission of the South Florida SPCA is to rescue and rehabilitate horses and other livestock and safely rehome them across the country. Additionally we educate the community about responsible animal care and ownership; Promote equine and livestock welfare through local and national advocacy.

About This Cause

Founded in 1992, South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SFSPCA) has rescued over 2,500 horses, livestock and other animals. SFSPCA is available 24/7 to respond to calls from law enforcement, to immediately remove horses and other hoof stock from cruelty situations and or to remove horses and livestock who are at-large, to a safe environment where they do not pose a danger to themselves or the community. SFSPCA is the only organization in South Florida capable of and with the track record to respond to public safety and humane emergencies involving horses and other livestock animals on such a large scale.
