Juan Domingo en Acción, Inc., is a non-profit organization that serves the Juan Domingo community in Puerto Rico through varied services for children, youth and adults including tutoring, a community library, a sports and fitness program, and an arts and music program.
About This Cause
Juan Domingo en Acción, Inc. is a community-based nonprofit organization with the mission of improving the quality of life and promoting sustainable development for the residents of Juan Domingo, a low-income neighborhood in Puerto Rico. Our vision is to be an efficient, effective and sustainable organization that works with the Juan Domingo neighborhood and its two public schools to eradicate material and spiritual poverty. Our goal is to improve academic achievement, reduce school dropout rates, and encourage lifelong development of productive citizens with positive values centered on democracy, ethics, work skills, and knowledge for the benefit of all community members.
