Mission Statement
Yadier Molina, all star catcher of the St. Louis Cardinals, will be hosting for the first time in his career a charity cocktail/dinner in his hometown of St. Louis in benefit of his nonprofit organization Fundación 4 (Foundation 4) to continue his ongoing efforts to raise hurricane relief funds for residents of his beloved Puerto Rico. The evening’s theme Flavors of Puerto Rico, scheduled for Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Windows on Washington in St. Louis, will transport guests into a multi-sensorial trip to Puerto Rico (the Island of Enchantment) by appealing to their five senses: Tastes of Puerto Rico, Aromas of Puerto Rico, Sights of Puerto Rico, the Sounds of Puerto Rico, and the Warm touch of Puerto Rico. All proceeds will go towards providing hurricane relief aid in Puerto Rico.
About This Cause
Fundación 4 is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit charity founded by Yadier and his wife Wanda Torres in 2010. The name “Fundacion 4” is in representation of Yadi’s #4 uniform number. Its main mission is to create happier lives and futures for underprivileged children in Puerto Rico. Through special fundraising events, Fundacion 4 aims with donations/sponsorships from private and public sector partners to aid children in need due to abuse, neglect, cancer, disease, or poverty.
