Mission Statement
The mission of Centro de Ayuda Social Luz del Mundo is to meet the needs of people and families living in a state of vulnerability due to lack of food, housing, shelter and basic health, providing them with services that promote protection factors and enable their integral well-being.
About This Cause
Our Social Ministry administrates a Food Bank Distribution Center (Centro de Ayuda Social LDM) providing food to 1,800 people weekly. Groups and care centers for the elderly also benefit collecting boxes of food to benefit another 300 people weekly. Distribution of backpacks full of food every Friday of the week for 200 children from local Public schools. Also, in collaboration with local municipal governments, we’ve distributed food to the community in general affected by the COVID 19 Pandemic impacting 120,000 people in the last year.
