Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop student understanding of the role education plays in future opportunities, to empower students to envision limitless possibilities, and to educate the whole child to be prepared for success in a changing world.
About This Cause
Claudia Landeen Elementary School, The Mariners, rests within the boundaries of the waterways of the San Joaquin Delta. Preschool through eighth grade students learn on a campus with staff who are dedicated to providing varied learning experiences while building positive relationships. Claudia Landeen PTSA helps to raise funds to increase opportunities for students, 79% of which qualify for the free lunch program. The PTSA supports enrichment experiences in the classrooms and field trips, our school theater program, the AVID program in Middle School to learn college readiness and our Wellness Center. The Wellness Center is ran by two counselors and an outreach worker supporting students social and emotional health. We understand the connection between physical and mental health and strive to maintain a comprehensive physical education program through funding and programing by the PTSA.
