The mission of SheJumps is to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities to foster confidence, leadership, and connection to nature and community through free and low-cost outdoor education.
About This Cause
The vision of SheJumps is to unearth the potential of all women and girls through outdoor play and connection to nature. —SheJumps inspires women and girls to jump - to push themselves past their perceived limitations and take risks that will result in growth, confidence, a connection to nature, and joy. —In partnership with nature, through outdoor activities, sports, and education, SheJumps is removing the ceiling of growth and transformation for women and girls. SheJumps’ truth: We dream. We jump. We grow. Growth looks different for all SheJumpers - from putting on skis for the first time to hiking your local trails to your first mountain biking class to summiting Mt. Rainier - we are creating a supportive, safe, inspiring community to nurture growth and transformation. Programs include: Wild Skills - youth outdoor education Get the Girls Out! - Community building & fundraising Outdoor Education - technical outdoor skills in a supportive environment
