About This Cause

Who Are We? Crisis Chaplaincy Services was begun in January 2003 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for the purpose of providing chaplaincy support to police, fire, & dispatch agencies and assisting people in crisis. What Do We Do? We provide emotional support and encouragement to any emergency responder that requests our help as well as to the agencies as a whole. We also provide caring compassion to people experiencing crisis in their lives as the result of the death of a loved one, friend, or coworker. This includes the provision of grief counseling or any other type of support that is necessary. Who Is Our Staff? Todd Pynch serves as our Executive Director & Chaplain. Where Do We Currently Serve? We serve individuals experiencing crisis both in Oregon and Oklahoma as well as any emergency service agency that requests our assistance. How Are We Governed? We are governed by a Board of Directors made up of individuals who support the mission and vision of our work. How Are We Financially Supported? Our funding comes from individuals, corporations, churches, and businesses that believe in the work we do and support us financially. We also receive funds from endowments and foundations.
