Mission Statement
A brief overview of the various activities undertaken by the Rakshak Foundation in India over the last few years is: Rakshak Foundation has been invited by the Parliamentary Standing Committees of India on 12 different occasions to provide oral evidence to them based on the critical research submitted by the foundation on various parliamentary bills having an important social impact Every year Rakshak Foundation executes highly sought after and prestigious fellowship program on policy research across India, only one of its kind, which allows selected fellows from Top institutes like IITs, IIMs, RECs, Law colleges to work with top civil services officers and academicians across the country with projects of wide impact. 400+ projects completed under the guidance of more than 250+ IAS, IPS, IFS officers impacting the lives of countless people in different ways in last 7 years. About This Cause
Rakshak Foundation's mission is to create responsible, informed citizenry to strengthen the democratic process of citizen participation in governance. The Foundation got started as a result of an irresistible desire for a lasting change, fueled by the moral responsibility to serve the nation, which has provided the foundation immense opportunities for various activities. They wish to make a difference in the lives of those who have not been as fortunate as others and to improve the quality of life for all. Rakshak Foundation intends to put together like-minded individuals on a firm footing to better channel their positive energies towards the holistic development of the society. Rakshak has started multifarious activities to sensitize the youth and the members of the civic society with the firm belief that every individual can make a difference and create a positive impact on the lives of those around them.
