Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide food, hope and dignity to our neighbors who struggle with hunger, and lead the movement to alleviate hunger through education, collaboration and advocacy.
About This Cause
The Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in Northeast Louisiana, providing almost 7 million meals annually to those facing hunger in the 12 parish region. This impact is made possible through the generosity of our supporters, volunteers, food donors and community distribution partners. At the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana, we believe no one should go hungry. Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana programs include Community Partner Program; Backpack Program; Senior Program; Disaster Relief. As a member of the Feeding America network of Food Banks, the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana is leading the fight against hunger in our community. We are one of five Food Banks in Louisiana and we serve the following 12 parish region: Caldwell; East Carroll; Franklin; Jackson; Lincoln; Madison; Morehouse; Ouachita; Richland; Tensas; Union; and West Carroll.
