About This Cause
Domestic Violence Intervention Services (DVIS) provides comprehensive services to families affected by domestic and sexual violence in Tulsa and Creek counties. For over forty years DVIS has been serving survivors. Our programs include emergency shelter, transitional living apartments, rapid rehousing, outpatient counseling for domestic violence and sexual assault victims, a therapeutic children's program, a batterer’s intervention counseling program, court and legal advocacy, self-sufficiency services, community outreach and education, and prevention in schools using a curriculum on dating violence. Our mission is advancing physical and emotional safety by reducing the impact and occurrence of sexual and domestic violence, human trafficking and stalking through inclusive intervention and prevention services for children, youth, and adults. Our vision is to promote a safer community by fostering social change, ending domestic and sexual violence, healing survivors, and saving lives. Our crisis line number is 918-743-5763.
