Mission Statement
. Our Mission Providing individuals with expanded opportunities through meaningful life experiences and personal relationships. ASC is a 100% community based day program for adults with developmental and other cognitive disabilities. Our goal is to help those persons increase their independence while learning appropriate social and pre-vocational skills as well as fostering a positive self-image.
About This Cause
ASC offers a full curriculum of community based activities each week throughout the year. Using partnerships with other not for profits such as Seniors First (Meals On Wheels), The Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, The Health Central Park Nursing Center, and Faith Based Sponsors, our program participants gain valuable skills which transfer to other areas of their lives and increase both their self-esteem and their independence. ASC values exercise and structured leisure activities which expand an individual’s opportunity to form meaningful relationships.
