Mission Statement
The North Korean people have massive potential to drive change inside their country. We exist to empower the people. Our mission: Redefining North Korea by focusing on the people, while rescuing and providing resettlement support to North Korean refugees and pursuing an end to the North Korea crisis.
About This Cause
Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) is the only grassroots organization in North America working full-time on the North Korea crisis. LiNK's work breaks down into three basic focuses: 1. Rescuing refugees & providing customized care: We bring North Korean refugees to freedom and safety, as well as provide resettlement support to help them fulfill their potential. 2. Growing the movement to stand with the people: We’re leading the movement to build worldwide support for the North Korean people and shift the narrative on North Korea to focus on the people, not just the politics. 3. Developing strategies to help the people drive change: We work alongside the North Korean people, experts, policy makers, and other non-governmental organizations to develop strategies to empower the North Korean people as they drive positive change inside their country.
