Mission Statement
Love INC - Heartland is a neighbor helping neighbor ministry. We help churches help people in an organized way, avoiding duplication and validating needs before the needs are met. We deliver development compassion helping people rise above their circumstance and become more self sufficient. Eleven communities and twenty eight churches are involved in our local Love INC. We operate through local donations. We are a 501(c) 3 non profit.
About This Cause
Love INC - Heartland, listens compassionately to neighbors in need. We validate the need is true and then we enlist the help of our community members in our 28 local churches to help meet the need. Love INC Heartland started in 2003 in our community. Six local churches came together to form a seamless way to help people in need, truly help by making a lasting positive difference in peoples lives. Our Mission is to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ. Our vision is to be a group of communities where people in need come to get better, not to stay stuck. Our relational ministry classes help develop on going training and support with a caring mentor while skills are internalized. Classes such as Money Management, Parenting, Successful Living Skills, Nutritional Cooking and more are in place to help families succeed. We have families that pay down an average of $10,000 a year while they are in the program. Love INC - Heartland is part of a national movement, Love INC, Love in the Name of Christ originated in Holland Michigan in 1977. Our affiliate is one of over 150 separate 501 (c) 3 non profits that are connected to the national Love INC.
