Mission Statement
Our mission is to establish and maintain programs for the elderly and elder disabled within a seamless system of care that includes both institutional and community-based geriatric health outreach components. This mandate applies to everyone who requires our services, commensurate with Seven Acres’ charitable care capability.
About This Cause
Founded in 1943, Seven Acres Jewish Senior Care Services is one of the largest not-for-profit, nonsectarian Medicare/Medicaid CMS/HHSC Licensed Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facility for the aged in the Texas Gulf Coast. Seven Acres does not discriminate and strives to provide the highest level of care irregardless of race, religion, creed, gender or ability to pay. A resident’s ability to financially afford quality health care is never a pre-requisite for admission. Services to residents include intermediate and intensive care, hospice and palliative care, skilled nursing care (total of 151 beds), and assisted living care at the Medallion Assisted Living Residence (90 beds). Residents are provided a full activity therapy program, occupational, physical and restorative therapy, as well as on-site physician services 24 hours, seven days a week
