About This Cause
For over 50 years, Samaritan Center has provided holistic, life-changing mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, Veterans, and First Responders across Central Texas. We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health care, regardless of their financial situation. Samaritan Center takes a holistic approach to mental health, caring for mind, body, and spirit through: • Professional counseling for individuals, families, and couples • Play therapy to help children heal through creative expression • Support groups for those facing PTSD, grief, and life transitions • Integrative medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and bodywork • Peer support & trauma-informed care for veterans, first responders, and their families Your support makes these services possible, ensuring that those in need receive care, no matter their financial situation: • $50 provides a group therapy session for someone facing trauma, grief, or life transitions • $150 funds a one-on-one counseling session for a child, teen, or adult in crisis • $250 covers a full month of acupuncture for someone struggling with chronic pain • $500 provides one month of play therapy to help a child process trauma and emotions At Samaritan Center, we see the impact of untreated mental health struggles every day.
