About This Cause
The Coalition for Barrier Free Living is dedicated to promoting the full inclusion, equal opportunity, and participation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of community life. Through a range of services, including peer support, resources, and technical assistance, and equipment, CBFL aims to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve personal freedom, respect, and employment opportunities. The organization also focuses on advancing public awareness and understanding of the barriers that obstruct individuals with disabilities from enjoying the same opportunities as non-disabled individuals. CBFL offers various programs and workshops, such as independent living skills training, advocacy, and assistive technology demonstrations, to support the independence and integration of people with disabilities into the community. By fostering an inclusive environment, CBFL strives to create a society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
