Mission Statement
The mission of St. Mark's to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all God’s people by word and action. Although St. Mark’s is a large parish, we are always ready to welcome new members and to encourage newcomers to take ownership in and serve the community as their gifts direct. We want to be a sign of the Kingdom of God in San Antonio’s North Side and a light to our larger community of San Antonio with our many ministries.

Located in San Antonio, TX, St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church is one of the 139 parishes in the Archdiocese of San Antonio under the leadership of Most Reverend Gustavo García-Siller, MSpS, Archbishop of San Antonio. The mission of St. Mark's to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all God’s people by word and action. Founding date of parish: 1976 Number of families in parish: 3,800 Masses: Saturday at 5pm; Sunday at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm (Spanish) & 5pm; Monday - Friday 8:15 AM; Wednesday 6:00 PM. Holy Days: 8:15am & 6pm; Holy Day Vigil: 6 pm Rite of Reconciliation: Saturday 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM; Wednesday 4:30 PM - 5:45 PM Eucharistic Adoration: Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 AM - 4:45 PM; Wednesday 9:00 AM - 8:45 PM.
