Mission Statement
We are an all volunteer, 100% foster-based pet rescue group serving San Antonio and the surrounding communities.
About This Cause
Homes for Pets is dedicated to saving cats and dogs in need. We are completely foster-based and do not have a shelter. We take in pets found as strays, owner surrenders, and transfers from local shelters. This means we help save pets that are going to be euthanized and have partnered with city shelters to save their highest risk pets. We are committed to meeting the needs of any pet: We take in animals regardless of health status or breed, including pets with extreme needs. Our volunteers match foster pets with adopters that are committed to providing life-long care for the pets they are adopting. We also work to reduce the stray population by providing Trap-Neuter-Release programs for feral cats. Homes for Pets relies on donations to continue our life-saving work and to build families through successful pet adoptions. Thank you for considering us for your donations.
