Mission Statement
The Galveston Island Humane Society, Inc. is dedicated to promoting animal welfare and the protection and prevention of unwanted or homeless animals of Galveston Island.
About This Cause
The GIHS works to assist all lost, homeless, or unwanted pets. In addition to rehoming we offer programs such as low cost spay/neuter program, microchip and vaccination clinics, and an aggressive TNR program (trap-neuter-return). Additionally we work to educate the public in all areas of responsible pet care.
