Mission Statement
The mission of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Colorado is to build communities of recovery and hope by educating, supporting and advocating for individuals affected by mental illness and their families.
About This Cause
NAMI Colorado is dedicated to building better lives for the 250,000 plus Coloradoans and their families who are affected by any number of mental illnesses - schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, panic disorder and others by providing free educational classes about mental illness to the community, support groups for those with mental illness and their families, political advocacy for all concerned, volunteer support and donations, a helpline, and a law line.
