Mission Statement
A non-profit all volunteer organization providing families in our community with food, limited financial assistance and other support services to help them become self-sufficient.
About This Cause
The Parker Task Force has served Parker, Franktown and Elizabeth for 33 years. Our unique, 100% volunteer force provides guidance toward self-sufficiency. Our food bank is generously stocked with non-perishable food purchased through charitable donations. During COVID-19 we are providing essential services without interruption. Volunteers deliver contact-free grocery pickup and one-on-one consulting with clients via phone. Specially trained remote volunteers utilize Microsoft Teams to securely communicate client information and shopping lists to those working on site. In our building, a minimal crew answers incoming calls, prepares client groceries for pickup and accepts and sorts donations. Your contribution to Parker Task Force directly funds the vital needs of those facing empty cupboards, utility shut-offs and eviction.
