Mission Statement
The Borderland Rainbow Center is a community center that serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer community. This is a community space where we can grow together. We provide services such as therapy and support groups, but also educational and cultural workshops, drug- and alcohol-free social space, and a food pantry.
About This Cause
The Borderland Rainbow Center’s mission is to create a community space in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex (LGBTQI) people and their allies can heal, grow, and empower themselves and others. This substance-free space will be governed and run according to ethically sound standards and research-based best practices for (LGBTQI) people and their allies. The BRC will connect LGBTQI people to resources for improved physical and mental health, economic stability, legal rights, education, spiritual and cultural enrichment.
