About This Cause
We are here when children and families need us most. For over 85 years, Variety has been providing direct assistance to families in Texas by removing the financial barriers that limit their ability to access the vital equipment and support services necessary for their child’s health and development. Variety recognizes that for children with special needs, support is essential, early intervention is critical, and the parents we serve struggle to overcome the overwhelming costs of care that are beyond what is covered by the healthcare system. This reality occurs every day. Families need help, and they come to Variety. Variety also recognizes the need for accessible recreation. Variety welcomes thousands of kids with all abilities through the gates of Peaceable Kingdom by Variety every year, where kids leave feeling empowered through nature and adventure.
