Mission Statement

KNON is a non-profit, non-commercial radio station in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area broadcasting unique programming for the entire community.

About This Cause

KNON has been on the air since 1983. Only 4 full time and three part time employees keep KNON 89.3FM going 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All the DJs an co-hosts are volunteers. There are more than 200 plus volunteers that help KNON be the "Voice of the People." Radio programming such as KNON is unique to the DFW area as well as to the entire United States and the world. We air music such as Blues, Country, all kinds of Rock, Jazz, Latin, Hip Hop, Native American, Gospel, Cajun, and more, including talk programming.
