To support and expand the professionalism, competence and knowledge of its members and of the Payroll Profession.
About This Cause
The Dallas Chapter of the American Payroll Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) professional organization made up of payroll professionals from across the Dallas metroplex. Donations would benefit our education department for training for the CPP or FPC exam, calculations classes and those wanting to certify or get RCH credits. People call in from all other states to take trainings and educational meetings and to hear speakers. If you’re already a member, and you’re just looking around to see what’s new, welcome back. We have a great year planned for our members including in-person meetings, great educational classes, and more opportunities to get involved. Your membership is the key to unlocking all the exciting activities that lie ahead. The most exciting occasion we have this year is celebrating our 40th year as a chapter! As I reflect on where we are and how far we’ve come as a chapter, I must first say thank you to all the board members that have preceded us. They had the vision to establish this chapter, grow it into a nationally renowned chapter, and see it through the very difficult days of Covid by responding immediately to keep the meetings and educational classes going in a virtual environment. The Dallas Chapter has thrived for 40 years when many chapters failed, and I commend the hard work and passion that has paved the way to make sure that the future of the Dallas Chapter is bright! As I already mentioned, on the horizon you can look for more in-person meetings and classes. Networking and mentoring have always been a foundational activity for us, and we want to get back to that sense of community. Our educational classes are second to none! If you are planning to sit for your FPC or CPP, this is the place to be. The classes also provide opportunities for obtaining your RCHs for recertification. Are you looking for ways to get involved and give back to the payroll profession? We have lots of committees that can use your expertise. Fill out an online volunteer form, and we’ll put you to work! The Dallas Chapter has gone through a lot of changes in the past couple of years, and we’ve had some opportunities to work through them. We have come through stronger and better than ever, and I am so proud to be able to serve with the team that makes up the Dallas Chapter Board of Directors.
