To promote professional excellence in nursing practice and healthcare through the empowerment and renewal of professional and cultural identity of all nurses of Indian origin/heritage, and to optimize their contribution to the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities.

About This Cause

The Indian American Nurses of North Texas (IANANT) is a nonprofit organization under section 501(C)3, with the primary goal of uniting all nurses of Indian heritage. The mission of IANANT is to promote professional excellence in nursing practice and healthcare through the empowerment and renewal of the professional and cultural identity of all nurses of Indian origin/heritage and to optimize their contribution to the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. IANANT brings the Indian American Nurses in North Texas under one umbrella and organizes a variety of services such as continuing education events, nursing student scholarships, promoting nursing education and more charity events including feeding the homeless. SCHOLARSHIP- IANANT scholarship Fund was established with a mission to support students who are pursuing nursing as a career and who are also of Indian origin residing in United States and India. Every year the organization awards scholarships to six nursing students in India and USA based on academic accomplishments and financial needs of the applicants. Other few initiatives to mention are Winter clothing and Blanket drive, Volunteering with Northwest Community center and Bone marrow swab drive Your donation will be recognized in our publications.
