Structured to meet the needs of an ever-changing community, our goal, based on self-improvement opportunities, is to return to the community, a self-sufficient, productive individual who has hope and a future.
About This Cause
A Step Forward (ASF) provides residential services to men and women who are combating the disease of addiction and other related issues such as homelessness, financial deprivation, joblessness, illiteracy, mental illness and incarceration. Currently, we have over 80% success rate of residents who complete our 6-12 month program. One of our major challenges has been the lack of affordable supportive housing for our graduates which proved to be in direct correlation of recidivism.
