Mission Statement
Lizzy's Lodge, Inc. is an all volunteer animal rescue organization dedicated to saving animals from abuse, neglect or abandonment in shelters and guiding them through recovery into safety and love and ultimately to new and forever homes.
About This Cause
Although Lizzy's Lodge works with all types and breeds of dogs, we are drawn to those animals that no one else wants...the ones overlooked because they aren't cute, are too old, have special needs, or simply have nowhere to go. We also take in the frightened dogs, the ones that shelters won't place or keep alive for very long. These dogs have been hurt physically or emotionally and usually just need time, patience and care, which we are willing to give them. They always become wonderful, loving family pets and we are grateful that we can help them become what they were always intended to be.
