Mission Statement
Impact began many years ago to bring the love of Jesus Christ to the poor, the rich, the sad, the happy, the educated, the uneducated, every color and every race. At Impact we believe that God in Heaven is our Creator, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit is our teacher, and the Bible is the word of God sent to guide and teach us. We believe God desires for all people to know him and feel his love. At Impact we pray that all will accept the love Jesus has to offer.
About This Cause
Serving the inner city of Houston since 1987, Impact has brought the love of Christ to the poor, the rich, the uneducated, the educated, the young, the old, every color and every race. From our Distribution Center and Recovery House to our Small Groups and more, Impact has many ways to reach out to the community and help those in need both spiritually and physically. We believe God desires for all people to know him and feel His love. At Impact, we pray that all will accept the Love Jesus has to offer. Please feel free to contact us any time if you would like to know more about our love for God and for those around us. We are a church family that loves and accepts all people because we follow the example Jesus Christ has set for us. Distribution Center – Providing food and clothing to those needing help. Homeless Ministry and Life House – Our residential recovery program helps men leave the life of addiction and grow closer to God. Seniors and Assisted Living – Whether the aged are lonely in institutions, prisoners in their own homes, bedfast or on the streets, they are not forgotten by our Lord or the Impact church, which has been in ministry to Seniors and the handicapped since its inception. Impact Youth – Children are a large part of what makes Impact so amazing. There are classes for all ages and fun teachers who love children and Jesus. We’ll provide transportation, so don’t let that stop you. Spanish Ministry – The gospel is preached in our Hispanic friends’ ‘heart language’ as they are connected and included in the life of the church. Impact Groups – Impact members and friends who meet regularly to connect, grow in Christ and live out His mission together.
