Texana Center’s mission is to deliver life changing services to people with behavioral health issues and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About This Cause
Texana Center is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that provides behavioral healthcare and developmental disabilities which includes mental retardation and related conditions, such as autism. Headquartered in Rosenberg, Texana provides services to residents in Fort Bend, Wharton, Matagorda, Austin, Colorado and Waller counties. With a staff of 750, Texana serves approximately 14,000 clients each year, with behavioral healthcare issues (mental illness) and intellectual & developmental disabilities (mental retardation), and has a nationally recognized program for children with autism. The staff at Texana works tirelessly to support those with severe mental and behavioral challenges with the goal of helping them develop to their fullest potential.
