About This Cause
Latin Women’s Initiative (LWI) is a Houston, TX-based nonprofit dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Latin women and children by providing financial and volunteer support through local nonprofit organizations. Since its inception, Latin Women’s Initiative has contributed over $2.5 million in volunteer time and direct financial support to nonprofits in the Houston community. Currently, we have over 300 members who serve the community by participating in various LWI led service activities and nonprofit projects in partnership with our beneficiaries. We believe our work in the Houston community supports our vision to ensure that every Latin woman and child in need has the resources to lead healthy and successful lives.
