Mission Statement
The CLL Foundation raises money for research designed to improve the treatments for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and to find a cure for the disease.
About This Cause
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia is the most common form of adult leukemia in the United States. The disease has not received its fair share of research dollars. The CLL Foundation raises money for basic scientific research intended to improve existing treatments and to lead to a cure. The Foundation has no paid employees. The Director and the members of the board are volunteers. Our expenses are limited to the charges of a contract accountant who keeps our books and prepares our tax returns, to stationary, stamps, and office supplies, and to costs associated with the solicitation of grant proposals. We believe that we get maximum value from the money that we raise.
