Polish Saturday School is a small independent language school founded in 1987 to preserve and perpetuate Polish language and culture.

About This Cause

Polish Saturday School is a small independent language school founded in 1987 to preserve and perpetuate Polish language and culture. Students from kindergarten to young adults attend classes in Polish language, history, geography, and religion. Classes are held twice monthly on alternate Saturdays from 9:00 until 13:00. Polish Scouts and Brownies meet after class from 13:00 to 15:00. Academic classes are taught by professional Teachers from Poland. Text Books and other teacher’s aids are printed by The Polish Teachers Association in the United States, The Polish Educational Center in United Kingdom, and The Polish Educational Center in Poland. The Polish Saturday School organizes The Christmas Play Jaselka. The play is performed by school children during The Christmas Parish Supper. Children’s Carnival party, Summer Picnic and visit with Saint Nicholas are annual events organized by the Polish Saturday School. The Carnival Party includes a dance party and talent contest for the children. The Polish Saturday School is a non-profit organization.
