ABOUT VENTURA COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION Our Mission: To promote and enable philanthropy to improve our community. For Good. For Ever. Our History: Established in 1987, the Ventura County Community Foundation has focused on building philanthropy in our region by stewarding legacies through careful management of the charitable capital entrusted to us. We are committed to a long-term perspective for Ventura County. We honor donor intent by protecting endowments forever and we specialize in connecting philanthropic resources with community needs for the benefit of all. We invest in the future through scholarships, grant making, and collaborative partnerships.
About This Cause
ESSENTIAL SUPPORT FOR THOSE IMPACTED BY THE VENTURA COUNTY FIRES Thank you so much for your interest in supporting those affected by the fires in Ventura County. We recognize that philanthropy plays a unique role in disaster response. Long after media attention has shifted away from our community, we will be here, committed to providing support that addresses the most critical needs of our nonprofits and their clients. Individuals affected by this disaster will have a multitude of needs that will change as time goes on. To support the immediate needs of those impacted by the fire, direct your contributions to the SUN Fund. To support the mid- to long-term needs of those impacted by the fire, direct your contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund. Why Ventura County Community Foundation?
