Since 1956, ACT for Mental Health has provided a warm and welcoming environment for individuals seeking mental health counseling. Our staff specializes in providing low-cost, high-quality counseling services to members of the downtown San Jose community regardless of background or financial status.
About This Cause
ACT for Mental Health's philosophy of client autonomy, self-help and community support is the foundation that drives its services. For over fifty years, ACT has worked with members of the community seeking to resolve conflicts, improve their mental health and engage in a warm, supportive community. Dignity and self-determination are hallmarks of good its care programs and remove many of the barriers to those seeking to improve their mental health.
