Mission Statement
The Montclaire Parent Teacher Organization (MPTO) is a non-profit organization that engages the community to contribute to quality education at Montclaire Elementary School in Los Altos, CA. Our programs provide funding for teaching positions, art, music, classroom technology, core academic curricula, enrichment actvities and social and community-building events. Community support has been crucial in providing stopgaps where state funding has failed our children.
About This Cause
The Montclaire Parent Teacher Organization (MPTO) is a non-profit organization that engages the community to contribute to quality education at Montclaire Elementary School in Los Altos, CA. MPTO membership includes the parents or guardians of all current students and the school’s teachers and staff. The all-volunteer board is made up of Montclaire parents. Over 95% of what MPTO raises goes directly to benefit our children’s education. In partnership with our school, MPTO provides our children with art, music, PE, support teachers, technology in our classrooms, and many other things that the state of California has cut funding for in recent years.
