Mission Statement
Since 1962, the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo's mission has been to support and enhance the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo (JMZ) – an early education science institute that has been a valued part of Palo Alto for 90 years.
About This Cause
The Friends work in partnership with the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo to provide interactive museum exhibits, improvements to the museum and zoo, and science education for students in East Menlo Park and East Palo Alto at no cost through the Science Outreach Program. Science Outreach programs take place in elementary schools, at the Baylands Nature Preserve in Palo Alto, and on-site at the Junior Museum & Zoo.
