Mission Statement
We rescue, not for politics, fortune, or fame, my friend ...but for the kiss of a dog. We are an all-volunteer nonprofit group dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia in overcrowded San Francisco Bay Area shelters and also help dogs from other areas that have compelling situations where they are in danger or abuse,neglect, or euthanasia.
About This Cause
Founded in 2001 by Bay Area animal activist Pali Boucher, Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501-C3 non profit corporation supported completely by donations. Our all volunteer, foster home based organization guarantees that you donations are completely focused on saving dogs. Rocket Dog Rescue places non-aggresive dogs into temporary foster homes where they re socialized,spayed/neutered, vaccinated and treated for any medical and/or behavioral conditions which would otherwise limit their adoptability. We then actively seek out permanent quality homes for this deserving animals through out volunteer network, online adoption process and weekend adoption events.
