Dorcas Ministries, Inc. Mission Statement Our Mission will strive to serve the individuals & families without exception to their creed, color, or cultural background. Our Mission will offer services to cover the gaps of other agencies by advocating helps for the overall crisis need and offer hope, while striving to meet the immediate need and aspiring to give temporary helps of foods, clothing, shelter, while providing the highest professional standards of confidential care, offering those who come for helps with "a hand up not a hand out".
About This Cause
Target population: Emergency shelter to Inner City youth aging out of foster care. Secondary population: County youth referred to Dorcas Ministries, Inc. by local DSS, County Shelters, Human Service Agencies, local Law Enforcement. These are individuals awaiting answers for helps from other formal city, county, state/federal agencies.
