About This Cause
The Foundation @ FCOE was established on July 17, 2009, to provide supplemental funding for the operation of essential programs and services coordinated, or in partnership with, the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. These programs and services enhance and expand the educational opportunities for Fresno County students through excellence, access and innovation. As the philanthropic arm of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, The Foundation @ FCOE expands on the mission of FCSS by seeking private funding and grants from institutions including Kaiser Permanente, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation to name just a few. These grants have allowed us to impact the health and wellbeing of students, as well as advance student development in the areas of equity, academics, athletics, agriculture education, and the arts.
