Mission Statement
Missoula Senior Center was established to develop, implement, and promote programs and services that support the physical, intellectual and emotional health and well-being of Missoula's 55 and older population. We also strive to serve as a focal point for community projects that enhance health, education, recreation and socialization of our members and their families.
About This Cause
The Missoula Senior Center offers programs for the older population of Missoula and for the greater community. Our services include: 1. Congregate Meal site, serving lunch Monday-Friday 11:30-12:30. Open to the public and all ages. 2. Wellness Classes daily, including Yoga, Tai Chi and meditation 3. Regional, National and International Trip offerings 4. Daily activities and games (ie. Bingo, Bridge, Pinochle, Greeting Card Making) 5. Special events and educational programming 6. "Community Space." Rentals and usage by community groups and nonprofits (ie. Tango Workshops, Contra Dancing, private parties/weddings)
