The Cultural Cup Food Bank is a community based, Qualified AZ Tax Credit Refund, 501 (c) (3) Organization focused on the Health and Nutritional well-being of its underprivileged community members.
About This Cause
The Cultural Cup Food Bank is an alternative food bank that customizes food boxes when ever possible, to the dietary needs of the client; diabetic, food allergies, medical or religious restrictions. It is not limited to those needs and also helps with clothing, baby needs, senior needs, pet needs (pet food) as well as job postings as we receive them from various organizations. • We service the Poorest Population in Maricopa County. The Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale metro area had the third-highest percentage of people living in poverty among the 25 largest metropolitan areas in the US. 64.71% of these families are under the National Poverty line. • An astounding 37% of Maricopa County’s homeless are families, usually a single mom with kids. Phoenix ranks 15th highest in the US for the number of homeless people in families.” A "Qualified Non-Profit for the AZ Tax Credit Refund" for Charities who give direct assistance to those who are receive TANF or are low-income families.
