Mission Statement
Kings & Queens International is a child abandonment prevention organization that exists to defend and provide the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of impoverished and abandoned children both domestically and globally.
About This Cause
Kings and Queens International establishes child abandonment prevention centers in Peru. Through local volunteers, children working and living on the streets are sought out and given assistance. Our vision is to target where it all begins – the parents. These centers then assist in providing counseling, educational tutoring, job skills training, and much more. Our goal is to break the cycle of abandonment one child at time, city to city, and nation to nation. We partner with a local home for abandoned children, taking short-term volunteer teams to serve and equip our in-country volunteers and staff with the necessary tools to work with these children. Kings & Queens desires to alleviate the financial burden of impoverished families by providing meals, after school tutoring, medical/dental assistance, and child sponsorships. Our most recent project is establishing a home for older boys that have aged out of government care and are now legally adults. We are seeking to open a home that will house ten young men with a set of house parents to offer guidance, support, and wisdom. Our organization will assist these boys in making their way through college or into a career field. We desire to break the cycle of poverty and raise up strong, capable men of integrity, leadership, and vision.
