Mission Statement

Empowering elders to live meaningful lives through culturally-appropriate, integrated care.

About This Cause

Aging in PACE Washington (AiPACE) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is developing a culturally appropriate Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) for the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community in King County. This effort is led by the International Community Health Services (ICHS), and the name of the facility will be the "Ron Chew Healthy Aging and Wellness Center, (formerly called AiPACE). This program is modeled after the success of the innovative ICHS PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Center launched in 2019 at our Legacy House location in the Chinatown-International District. The new facility will quadruple the number of vulnerable older adults served, demonstrating the need for elder services in our area. Community support has been instrumental in helping us reach 50 percent of our $25 million capital campaign goal now underway to build the 25,000-square-foot senior center and clinic. The new center will deliver comprehensive, affordable wraparound services, maximize quality of life for families, and keep our community healthy by meeting individual patients' healthcare needs in one place. ICHS Foundation Executive Director Alice Braverman thanks the community for the support to date.
