Mission Statement
To bolster the visibility of the queer community and ultimately assist them in living their best authentic lives; as well as providing gender and sexuality diversity training to the community as it is requested.
About This Cause
The Community Uplift Program (CUP) serves the Tri-State area in efforts of promoting gender and sexuality diversity education/training when it is requested. We offer a holistic approach to learning about different groups of individuals and treating them with respect and best practices to ensure positive experiences for both the provider and the client. CUP also serves as fiscal host for the Harbor Health Clinic (utilizing the non-profit status) which specializes in offering Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy to the public using an Informed Consent model. The clinic currently is only able to prescribe the hormone therapy, so physicals and blood work are both outsourced, but clients do not need outside referrals for the prescription.
