About This Cause
A Christian non-profit ministry organized in 2016 according to the regulations for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Dedicated to glorifying God by welcoming the stranger among us. Welcoming the refugee as our new-American neighbor with gospel-focused ministries of mercy! A ministry that mobilizes local churches to welcome and serve displaced people who settle in Kansas City. Comprised of staff, volunteers, interns, and members of faith communities who are learning to see the glory of God reflected in Jesus’ face as seen in the faces of others. Stories that need telling- stories of men, women, and children surviving adversity and enriching our lives as they become our neighbors and friends.
