Mission Statement
Path Forward is a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower people to restart their careers after time spent focused on family and caregiving. We fulfill this mission by working with companies to create and run mid-career internships — also known as “returnships” — that give people a jump start back to a professional career, while giving companies access to a diverse, untapped talent pool.
About This Cause
Since 2016, Path Forward worked with more than 75 companies to help them structure and run successful return to work programs, including Amazon, Netflix, Walmart, Apple, SAP, NBCUniversal, Verizon, and many others. Path Forward provides our employer partners with best practices and training and recruitment marketing support and our program participants with professional development workshops and coaching, plus support from our alumni community of more than 500 program graduates. More than 80% of the participants in our programs have been hired by the companies where they completed their returnships.
