About This Cause
Firebrand Theatre is a musical theatre company committed to employing and empowering women by expanding their opportunities on and off the stage. Its goals include building a world where women’s stories and experiences are valued in theatre as highly as a man’s. Until this world is fully realized, Firebrand plans to fight the inequity by advocating for women with their programming, casting, and process. Led by Artistic Director and Founder Harmony France, Firebrand presented its inaugural production LIZZIE in late 2017. Next up is 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL, running April 7 - May 20, 2018. Firebrand is in residence at The Den Theatre, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. www.firebrandtheare.org
