Mission Statement
The Trini Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with substance use disorders establish long-term recovery by building environments of physical, mental, and spiritual support through integrating recovery services with wellness practices, such as yoga and mindfulness. We are committed to changing the dialogue surrounding substance use and recovery - from one of isolation, to one of community and growth.
About This Cause
Trini Foundation works to increase access to support and resources for individuals with substance use disorder through evidence-based programs including holistic approaches that incorporate peer-supported services and wellness classes offered within dual diagnosis treatment centers and judicially supervised programs. Since 2016, the foundation has served over 9,000 program participants, provided 352 scholarships, and facilitated 3,006 wellness classes. Due to the success of existing programming, Trini Foundation opened its Recovery Residence in March 2023 in order to further ease barriers to recovery and improve overall health outcomes by providing a supportive living environment that incorporates resident-driven recovery planning, mindfulness based interventions, and connection to community resources.
